If you are an AE, editor, work with editors, or want to be an editor this event is for you!  Join editor and moderator, Jen Grey, for an informative discussion with 3 different editors from 3 different agencies. Learn how they got into editing, how they are forever evolving their craft, and what they learned (and wished they had learned) along the way.

Moderator:

Jen Grey - AV Squad 
Jen is an editor at AV Squad and is the current VP of Soapbox Editors. She’s worked on a variety of campaigns recently including Barbarian, Bullet Train,The Northman, and Spider-man: No Way Home. Outside of work, Jen spends her time exploring LA with her friends and family, and working toward her travel goals of visiting 30 countries before 30.

Ali Comperchio - Bond
Ali is a senior editor and creative director at BOND. She grew up an hour’s drive from the closest movie theater and has always loved trailers as much as the movies. She has worked on campaigns including Westworld, American Hustle, Batman Vs. Superman, Justice League, Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Joker, The Suicide Squad, Matrix: Resurrections, Don’t Worry Darling and Peacemaker. Her favorite things include travel, food and puppies. Her least favorite thing is talking about herself…so this should be fun!

Diane Baek - Aspect
Diane is an editor at Aspect. She’s worked on a wide range of campaigns such as Licorice Pizza, Paws of Fury, The Kissing Booth II, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Call of Duty. Before Aspect, she was editing daytime TV promos for The Ellen Degeneres Show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, and The Wendy Williams Show. In her free time, she’s exploring restaurants with her family, hiking with her dog, going to the movies, or planning her next vacation

Zoe Carey - Create
Zoe has been in the trailer world since 2009 when she got her start in London by taking part in a trailer editing competition. As a result of the competition she was lucky enough to nab a job as AE at Empire Design and showed her gratitude by staying with Empire for 12.5 years! In 2015 she moved to New York and became the Creative Director of Empire Design NY. She has had the good fortune of working on a variety of prestige projects such as Nomadland, Little Women, Beautiful Boy, The Danish Girl and The Theory of Everything, as well as some blockbusters such as Jurassic World, Fifty Shades of Grey and Ghostbusters. After 2 babies and one pandemic, she and her kiwi husband Dean took the leap to move to New Zealand in 2022. She is now working remotely for Create Advertising LA and loving every minute of it! In her free time (haha, can you have free time with a 2 and a 1 year old?!) she watches movies and drinks wine with her husband!
