The education we've received about the menstrual cycle and bodies with a uterus has been so abysmal that most of us have spent our lives walking around in the dark. In this virtual learning session, we'll reframe and rebuild our relationship with our period into something healthy and collaborative.

Join Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Reproductive Rights Activist Madeline Simpson as she teaches us how the cycle works, what the hormonal responses are in each phase, and how to harness this knowledge to have a more purposeful relationship with your body. All who menstruate are welcome

About the Speaker:

Madeline Simpson is a Certified Full Spectrum Doula based in Brooklyn, NY. She wants every person to have knowledge about their body that lets them make informed and intuitive decisions about their healthcare, feel more comfortable with transformative life events, and have the tools to start getting in touch with themselves and their voice. She created the Connect With Your Cycle workshop to "begin with the basics". In this workshop, you will learn about anatomy, the cycle in its entirety, and how you can begin observing and working with your cycle. Her approach as a doula is evidence-based, judgment-free, unbiased, and trauma-informed, aiming to empower people by providing easy access to knowledge that should be readily available to everyone. Learning this information is a way of breaking the pattern we so desperately need to get out of. She views being a doula not just as her profession but as the essence of her identity.
